RYB · OUR STORY
The manifesto
RYB was born from the daily experience of people who teach and practise Pilates: the search for a Reformer that is more precise, quieter and more beautiful to live with every day.
From Bergamo we have built an ecosystem that brings together design, production, education and programming, supporting studios and enthusiasts across Europe.

01
RYB was born from real experience, a passion for Pilates and the desire to do things better.
As a Pilates teacher and studio owner, RYB founder Claudia spent years working closely with clients and Reformers every day. As her studios grew, she found herself constantly looking for ways to improve the machines she was using — adapting details, refining functionality and searching for a better experience for both instructors and clients.
Eventually, she realised that instead of continually adapting existing equipment, it was time to create her own.

02
Together with her husband Mario, who shared her passion for developing better equipment, that vision became reality. Their journey led them to Lombardy, Italy, where RYB developed its handcrafted Reformer production, combining thoughtful design, functionality and craftsmanship.
But the vision didn’t stop with the machines.

03
Years of teaching also inspired Claudia to rethink how Pilates could evolve for today’s lifestyles and the way people move and train.
Rooted in the principles of Joseph Pilates, RYB Academy was created to bring together traditional Pilates foundations, functional movement and a more contemporary approach to teaching.
As RYB grew, so did its solutions. Today, the brand brings together premium Reformers, professional education, innovative programming and technology to support the evolving world of Reformer Pilates.
The journey
Steady growth, guided by one idea: improving the experience of movement.
01
Working directly with instructors and clients showed us what existing machines were missing.
02
We designed and produced our Reformers in Italy, caring for every mechanical and finishing detail.
03
A great machine needs a method: certified instructor training with an ASI diploma recognised by CONI.
04
From Italian studios to showrooms in Spain, the United Kingdom and soon Germany.
Italian design and craftsmanship in every component.
Smooth, controlled movement in service of technique.
Machines built for intensive use, year after year.
Ongoing education and support for instructors and studios.
